Instructed By Claire Huguenot:

Claire Huguenot is a self-taught paper/textile enthusiast who developed her passion for art into a professional activity. Since childhood , her interest in art was present when studying under French painter Monique Bigle. After moving to Vancouver in 1989, she further pursued her art education with classes and hands-on training in different artistic media. Although she has a formal education in sciences, with a PhD in Biochemistry, she is passionate about exploring art and developing new media to incorporate into her approach. She aims to create pieces that are truly original. The best comment Ishe consistently receives: "I have never seen anything like it!"

Elisabeth works primarily in watercolours from personal photographs and in plein air. Since forever, and alongside a happy career as an artifacts conservator, she looked for time to make something every day. This is why she usually has knitting in her backpack.
